The LEKTOREK Academy is a continuation of the first private language school in Białystok. We have been with you inseparably since 1990, under various names: as the Foreign Language Teaching Centre, Language School, Foreign Language Academy… The name has changed over the years as have the owners but the passion for learning and passing on knowledge to younger and older students is still the same…
Our school is one of a kind! Why?
First of all: the people who create it love what they do.
Secondly: an individual approach to each student makes us exceptional! There are as many needs as there are people and we try to make everybody visiting us feel at home here! Small, intimate groups (2 to 6 people), very often individual classes – this is a unique opportunity for each student to squeeze the most knowledge from the meeting with the teacher!
Thirdly: we are unique because we set no boundaries: our Academy is probably the first school in the region that is friendly to everyone, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity! Yes, here the people from the broadly understood LGBT+ spectrum can feel safe and at home!
We prepare young people for different exams and language competitions.
We teach adults who want to take prestigious telc, TOEIC or WiDaF exams; their language certificates are recognized all over the world by various companies, institutions and organizations.
We conduct specialized classes in English (English for business, tourism, medicine, law, logistics, economics), Spanish, Russian, and we also prepare foreigners for telc exams in Polish.
Language courses and language exams are not everything.
A passion for languages is not only about learning at school: language camps in Poland (Masuria Lake District, The Tatra Mountains, The Baltic Sea), summer camps in Białystok, language trips with accommodation with the families in London – if you want to improve your foreign language skills, there is no better way than a trip abroad.

Two elements in one, yin-yang, a human with two souls, like “two-spirit” in Native American community. My two halves complement each other to create one and unique character: an introverted HE needs an extroverted HER, an empathetic, sensitive HE harmonizes with a warm, patient, full of ideas and curious about the world HER! This is me: HE/SHE, a non-binary person. I love traveling and speaking foreign languages, my passion is discovering the world and sharing my knowledge with others. I am a tour guide and a tour leader, I conduct language classes (English, Spanish, Polish) and language exams. I organize both foreign and domestic language trips for children and teenagers. I am happy to meet you!

A teacher, an English language enthusiast and a person fascinated by all kinds of individual approach to the student, which is so important in the process of learning and development. This is all of me! My goal is to infect my students with love and fascination for the English language and give them the ability to communicate effectively and naturally. To achieve this, I gladly reach for all kinds of innovative methods, which makes it easier for me to study cognitive science and communication. In the hierarchy of hobbies, right after English, there is sailing, which gives me a sense of freedom and a close connection with the element. My everyday life is accompanied by music and a constant smile 🙂 I get great joy from the successes achieved by my students but it is their smiles that I consider priceless.

As an English teacher, I focus on a practical approach to learning and developing students’ communication skills so that they can quickly gain self-confidence and acn fully use their own potential. My interest in the functioning of the brain and the cognitive approach influences teaching methods, which improve the absorption of knowledge in a pleasant way. In my free time, I ride horses in the forest, read books and travel. I love contact with nature, because it allows me to charge myself with positive energy, which has a positive effect on my work and stimulates creativity.

I am a Russian language teacher, a sexologist and a future psychologist. In my work, I try to see the beauty and uniqueness of each person I have the honor to work with. I accept and support the LGBT+ people, believing that everyone deserves love, acceptance and the opportunity to be themselves. In my work, it is especially important for me to support people in discovering their value and building self-confidence. I believe that everyone has the potential to “spread their wings” and to live in harmony with him/herself. My goal is to create a space where people can feel comfortable, be authentic and safely explore their needs and emotions.
